I'm Brendan Dooley and I'm in two bands. One being Desde which is a very modern folky, acoustic, very old country, bedroom pop, mixed with much more depressing kinda style or whatever you may be able to think of, though it's likewise to Okkervil River, Woody Guthrie, The Good Life, and Bright Eyes kinda style music w/ lap steel, pedal steel, banjo, synth, dobro, keyboards, mandolin, and a few random touches here and there drums and some bass in the places that it's needed. We and our friends, Thirty Days To Boston are evenstarting to play shows with that whole scene like Head of Femur, Mal Madrigal, '89 Cubs, Mayday, and so many others. (I won't be joining up till late spring or very early summer for them) http://www.wellingtonrecords.com
